Leaving Texas

We are heading out of Texas today. We had repairs done on the camper yesterday, so we are all set for our journey. Got a new battery for the chassis, our second one. The cold and bumpy, snow covered roads of Kansas did in the old one. As soon as we find an Advance Auto we can get our money back on the old one. We also got a new gfi switch for the coach outlets. A big thanks to RV Services Glen Dickey. He charges by the minute so you only pay for the time he works on your rv, and he comes to you. His prices are very resonable too. If in the Dallas/Fort Worth area and need help give him a call. He did not charge us a fee for coming to us because we saw his ad in the Texan RV Ranch brochure and we were camped there.

While here in Texas we enjoyed going twice to Six Flags, going out to eat and to the movie Avatar, and just hanging out with John, Mary, Darrell, Brandy, and Kaitlen. Sorry we did not get the chance to meet Veronica, but hope to see them all in May/June for the weddings, if not sooner. We ate at El Fenix, I-Hop, and Colter's BBQ. We would encourage anyone in the area to check them out. Great food and a good price at all three. Now that we have season passes to Six Flags we can go to any of them we encounter along the way. Even upgraded to the parking pass, so parking wil be covered too.

Headed towards Arizona now. We hear it is even warmer there.
