We stopped at Texan Steakhouse (Tue Jan 5th) and checked out the home of the 72oz. steak challenge. If you can eat a 72oz. steak, baked potato, salad, shrimp appetizer, and roll in an hour or less you get the meal free, name on their hall of fame, and a shirt, if not the cost is $72.00. If you want to split the meal then they charge you $200.00 and give you 8 sides. We took some pictures of the place, and then went back in the morning for their breakfast buffet. It was only $8.95 and had an omelet bar, breakfast burritos, bacon, sausage, biscuits & gravy, 4 kinds of fresh fruit, muffins, eggs and fried potatoes. The food was very good and worth the money, their menu is full of steaks hand cut in all kinds of sizes, yet a little pricy for us. They even have rattlesnake on the menu. It is definitely a tourist trap/attraction. They have been on many Food TV shows and worth the stop. They have a gift shop, shooting gallery, and slot machines that give out tokens and even have free limo service from most hotels.
