On the move -- Texas to New Mexico

Jan 6th
We finally left Texas and entered New Mexico at 2:00pm which then changed to 1:00pm because we are now in Mountain Time Zone and gained an hour. We stopped at the Tourist Center for New Mexico and they gave us tons of Info on what to see on I-40 as well as the rest of the state. They even had a card you could sign up for and get all kinds of discounts through out the state.
At exit 275 in Santa Rosa NM on I-40 we stopped at a place called the Blue Hole. It is an underground spring that has a constant Temp of 61* and a Depth of 81ft, Diameter of 60ft and an Outflow of 3000 gal per min. It is used as a training place for Scuba Divers and a very cool place to stop. The water is very clear and you could see down into the hole to the floating buoy markers they had. There are also a few picnic tables and just a down the road is what looks like a park with a water slide that I am sure is very busy in the summer months. There was a building that was under improvements and was closed at the time, so I am sure they had tons of info about the place.
Spent the night at Flying J in Albuquerque NM at exit 153.
